Massage therapy manipulates the soft tissue of the body using a variety of pressure and movement techniques to alleviate pain, boost mobility, and promote healing. Our RMTs are educated to assess and treat a wide range of injuries with a variety of proven, effective techniques.

Physiotherapy

Dr. Gagandeep Gill was born and raised in Abbotsford, British Columbia and has chosen to remain in the Lower Mainland to practice as a Doctor of Chiropractic. His interest in this career began after a car accident during his high school years where chiropractic care helped in his recovery.

Gagandeep has always had a passion for the healthcare field and choosing this route allowed him to contribute both his knowledge and passion to help others in the community. Gagandeep completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Cellular, Molecular and Genetics concentration in 2018.

In his last years of high school, Gagandeep was involved in a serious car accident that left him with a moderate amount of low back pain. Nathaniel started his career of helping people in tech support, where he learned valuable troubleshooting skills that he utilizes to great effect in his massage therapy practice.

He had graduated in 2010 from India and later on successfully completed his Master’s in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria.

Our Offered Counselling Services

Back in Motion Health counsellors are all master’s-level trained mental health professionals that hold a license in good professional standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors, designating them as Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC).

We are here for you, no matter the support that you need to improve your mental health. We offer short or long-term counselling services using a variety of approaches: cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), talk therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness and acceptance-based therapies, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), somatic experiencing, Rogerian therapy, etc.

Our services have no formal commitment required (number of sessions), although optimal outcomes require commitment to treatment.

Your initial counselling session consists of introductions, informed consent review, establishing rapport, and conducting formal or informal assessments as needed. Assessments may include questionnaires to evaluate symptoms of anxiety, depression, etc.

She made the leap into the RMT world after being a body worker for 8 years and finding relief in massage therapy for previous injuries.
